FORMAT:
Format will be three games of regular 10-pin bowling on the same pair of lanes by a three-person team, any combination of Men/Women.
Blind Doubles teams per Shift will be created by random draw prior to the start of bowling each shift through TournamentBowl.com.
ELIGIBILITY:
This tournament is USBC sanctioned. USBC cards or proof of card purchase for each team member must be presented prior to bowling. If you do not hold a current USBC card, one can be purchased the day of this tournament for Association dues of $25.
MULTIPLE ENTRIES:
Event may be bowled more than once but at least one bowler must change on the team. Blind Doubles is limited to once per squad bowled.
ENTRIES:
Entries will close 30 minutes prior to the start of each squad.
Entry fee of $40.00 per bowler and breaks down as follows: Lineage $14.50, Prize fund $20.50, Expenses: $2.00, Masters Championships $2.00, Jr. Scholarship $1.00. Entry fee of $10.00 per bowler for Blind Doubles breaks down as follows: Lineage $0.00, Prize fund $7.00, Master Championships $3.00.
AVERAGES:
Bowler must use their 2024-2025 STANDARD COMPOSITE average for 21 games or more. If no 2024-2025 average then either; (2) highest current average based on 21 games or more for the 2025-2026 season as of the date of entry, or (3) you will enter using a 220 scratch average.
(USBC Rule 319a(2) will be enforced – 10 pin Avg Rule Adjustment.) If your highest current average as of the date of this tournament and as of at least 21 games is at least 10 pins or more higher than your 2024-2025 Standard Composite Average, you MUST use your current average. Sport or Challenge averages will be adjusted to Standard averages according to the USBC Average conversion chart.
Failure to report the correct average or make corrections prior to the completion of the 1st game could result in disqualification if the reported average is LOWER than the actual average. (USBC Rule 319a(3). IF YOU HAVE NO COMPOSITE AVERAGE FOR THE 2024-2025 SEASON, PLEASE BRING A COPY OF A CURRENT LEAGUE STANDING SHEET TO PROVE AVERAGE IF THE AVERAGE CAN NOT BE VERIFIED ONLINE.
It is the responsibility of each bowler to verify the accuracy of their own average.
PRIZE FUND:
Prize ratio for the Trios portion will be 1 for every 6 entries. Multiple payouts are allowed.
Blind Doubles will only pay the top (5) teams. Multiple payouts are allowed.
Prize money will be returned 100% with last place money at least equal to the prize fund fee per bowler.
HANDICAPS:
Each bowler’s handicap will be 90% of the average difference from 220.
Tournament shall be governed by USBC rules not covered above. All decisions of the tournament manager are final unless an appeal is made in accordance with Rule 329. Rules 319-c, 319-d, and 319-e will be waived.
You must bowl Trios to be eligible for Masters Champion (Scratch/Handicap) consideration. (If multiple entries are bowled, ONLY the first series bowled will count towards Masters standings.)
For the 2026 WCUSBC OPEN Championship Tournament taking place on February 28th, March 1st, and March 7th-8th, ONLY Whatcom County and Skagit County league bowlers are eligible to bowl.
